'Sting tape exposes sinister conspiracy of BJP in Sandeshkhali': Abhishek Banerjee

During a public meeting in Mangalkot, Dilip Ghosh's parliamentary constituency, Abhishek Banerjee directed criticism towards the BJP regarding the explosive tape of Sandeshkhali.

Banerjee asserted, "BJP made many fabricated claims on Sandeshkhali but the sting tape has exposed their sinister conspiracy." He expressed astonishment at the alleged depths to which a political party could descend, stating, "We never thought that a political party could stoop so low."

Earlier on Saturday, the Trinamool Congress released a video in which a man--who claims to be the mandal president of the saffron party in Sandeshkhali—was heard saying that Suvendu Adhikari (Leader of the Opposition in the West Bengal Assembly) had asked him and other BJP leaders of the area to "instigate three-four local women to level allegations of rape against three TMC leaders, including Shajahan Sheikh"
